Clickimin Broch

What a difference a day makes weather wise. Glorious sunshine to end the day with hardly a breath of wind.

The Broch at Clickimin is now probably in the centre of Lerwick as a result of all the building to the south of it.

This is very interesting. Is that a fortress there?

@777margo Brochs are a bit of a mystery but they could be fortress of some sort. When this was built over 2000 years ago it would have been at a narrow entrance to the settlement so it could easily have been a lookout fortification.
