Black Headed Gull by lifeat60degrees

Black Headed Gull

Gulls are much maligned birds as we tend to take them for granted and as a result I haven't, until today, had a close up view of a Black Headed Gull. Very numerous but a lot smaller than most of the Gulls losing the black on the head out of the breeding season. It is probably the least troublesome of all the Gulls.
Lovely capture!
