Ava has ligament problems so currently under vet's orders NOT to have ball thrown to her and down to maximum 15 minute walks at a time.
I've been very good with the ball throwing which she obviously doesn't understand - the walks on the other hand have sometimes been over a quarter of an hour and I think there is an improvement as the limp has all but gone. As long as longer walks are allowed to return I think Ava will accept that the ball is no longer part of her life.
Ava must be so frustrated given her breed. I have a labrador. A fatty lump removed on Monday and arthritis showing on xrays of her spine - she seems quite happy to be on house arrest! Lovely capture of her mood.
