With the wind speed over 50 mph since around mid-day this was taken from the safety of the car. Leebitton reasonably sheltered when there is a westerly blowing so "Kate" should survive another day at least. Due to be wind speeds at this level all weekend though.
Great colours and composition of the shot - not sure that Kate is doing that well, the bow and where the keel meets the back of the boat don't look brilliant - definitely needs some work to fix it.
