Norway's national day so plenty of Norwegian flags flying in the Isles this morning with this one at the Town Hall in Lerwick.

Normally there would be good numbers of Norwegians and their yachts in town but not so during these covid times.

This show the tight connection between Norway and Shetland. I always felt welcome there, both as a Norwegian and a Faroese resident.

Lovely capture. Our daughter started celebrating in Oslo yesterday with friends at 7.15am with prosecco and red bull! Yuck. Followed by a run around the town. Good for them, I say!
