As a fair weather Up Helly Aa watcher this years event was watched online. My first full day in Shetland was Up Helly Aa day 1980. Fair to say a lot has happened since then. This photo taken just before the galley is set alight.

Great image. Our B&B a few years back had exactly that view! What a great event - and even women being allowed to participate this year!!! Shame the weather wasn't great, but it could have been worse!
