After yesterday’s visit from the Chiffchaff, which was still around today, today’s visitor was more unusual for these parts. This Great Tit spent most of the day in the garden and it is possible that it is the first record in Shetland this year. There have already been a few twitchers about to see it and mark it off their annual list. It is only the second time I’ve seen one here.
