Remains

The remains of the Fair ISle Bird Observatory that was destroyed by fire earlier this year have been brought over from the Isle.

that's the place that Ann Cleeves worked when she was younger - as a cook and housekeeper. It's how she got to know Shetland and set the Jimmy Perez books there, but also at least one other actually in the observatory.
