The Walls bus comes to meet the Foula ferry which is on the right. At this time of year weather determines the running of the ferry more than the published timetable and with flat calm seas the New Advance nipped over. Fair Isle claims to be the most isolated inhabited Island in Scotland but for me Foula seems far more remote.
