On arriving home I noticed a Wren in the back garden bird bath. I've never seen one in any bird bath and it stayed there for around 20 minutes getting out every now and then for a shake. Most mornings I fill the bird bath but forgot today and wonder if that meant the water was shallow enough for the Wren to safely bathe?
