Not the greatest picture. Not even the one I originally took for today. But tonight, my daughter and I celebrated the 23rd anniversary of the movie RENT. And what spoke to me is that even though times are shitty (and I'm pretty sure they can get worse), my daughter is living her life for the chance to be on stage, the chance to perform this season, the chance to test and excel. She is living her life for today. And I needed that reminder right now.
