The very first day of the year

I've decided to do a 365 project this year. I really want to take more photos in 2017 and I figured this would be a great way to do just that.
2016 has been a really rough year for me, as I've lost my mother to cancer at a much to young age. I'm still grieving, but hopefully 2017 will be a much better year. Here's to hoping.
