I see a pair of scissors there too. A most interesting subject and composition. I like how the black-and-white answers to the vintage feel of the subject for this one
@grammyn Thanks, Katy. The dress was almost black (with a dark blue tone) since Mrs. Hughes never wore a bright color. But I decided to go all the way to black with my processing.
