Somebody has been eating all of the leaves off my hosta in one of my gardens. I think I found the culprit, or one of them anyway. I was watering in the front gardens when at least three rabbits hopped out of the neighbor’s bushes. They kept going in and out so I suspect there is a nest of these garden thieves. They were all skinny and had mottled fur, so I’m pretty sure they’re young. One of them had a big bite out of his ear as if someone mistook him for a chocolate bunny. This little guy thought he was being inconspicuous, but I was able to spy on him between the privacy fences.
@sarasdadandmom So you happen to have the rabbit police’s number? He’s a juvie so maybe he’ll get off easy for his first of”fence”. @erikadee I’ll have to look again. I didn’t notice any small articles of clothing in the garden. @olivetreeann Oh yes, rabbits love hostas. I need something that eats rabbits. ;)
