I started this project to document a year of my life and to learn about photography. This is just practicing how to get a bokeh effect and really only the second time I’ve gotten it intentionally. As I approach the end of my year, I’ve decided I’m going to stick around for another year. Maybe next year I’ll focus on getting good at this picture taking stuff. Although I’ve come far (what’s an f/stop?), I know I still have a long way to go. But then I suppose the true joy is in the journey.
This is SO beautiful! FAV. And I am SO SO SO glad you are doing 365 next year too! Yay! I am already looking forward to your next 365 photos. I will be doing the project again too. Maybe next year I'll have a better camera AND can work on my skills!
I haven't decided on another project yet. I'd like to, but I've been getting behind here and there lately, so I don't know if I will commit to it. I will definitely be a lurker, tho! ....and I think you are an AWESOME photographer....I know we are always growing and learning and improving...but you got skillz, woman!!! :)
FAV! Love the colors and the shininess of it all. Bravo! You are coming back next year...you should totally join us with our Photo Squirrel group Right now it consists of Denise, Missy, Cheryl, Cathy, Jen, and myself..
@olivetreeann Some days I swear I couldn't do this for another year because it feels like another chore on my already long list of chores, but I am having difficulty imagining not doing it!
this is sooooooo pretty!! you did a great job with bokeh and i love the colors! i'm with you, so much more to learn.......
fav, for your beautiful bokeh!
Beautiful! I learned all about f stop from my photography class. I don't know how to explain it....I just read the meter and experiment from there. You seemed to be doing find with experimenting. I like how this turned out.
