After the party

Nothing like deflated balloons to show the party is really over :). These helium balloons are hanging upside down over a table.

sad to see them like this -

Helium balloons make me giggle, because I used them to teach ascension for the toddlers in church - helium balloons ascending into the roof with Jesus attached, carefully attached to a string, tucked under a table until needed. Except when I was trying to bring the balloons down and tie them somewhere safer, I was distracted half way through, and one of the toddlers managed to untie them. Whereupon the balloons ascended unhindered to the roof out of reach of everyone, for months, until they finally deflated and came down.
