African Tulip Tree

Yesterday afternoon, just before the rain, I noticed this seedpod on my African Tulip Tree.
Our neighbour has one of these.
Now we have 2 that have grown from seeds over the past 20 years.
I quite like the collage.
I will post the flowers when they bloom.
I didn't know you had one of these in your garden!

Have just gon through all your photos. Love you flower pics, especially the ginger. My husband's into broms but I've always liked the bee hive ginger. Look forward to seeing your photos of out West.
