Well after all that kerfuffle yesterday with me formatting my card, we were able to restore the photos I deleted using a fabulous programme.
So all was not lost after all :)
I ended up photgraphing them again today.
Here are my pretty weeds.
I thought the light made them look like beautiful flowers.
I'm quite pleased with the result.
So glad you were able to recover the pictures... I once cleared the card thinking that everything was already on the computer.... didn't know it might be possible to recover the images!
Love this plant.... I guess a weed is simply a plant in the wrong place. It is very pretty and love your pictures of it.
Hurra! Great! I learnt a new word "kerfuffel" and I was surprised that "leo" (www.leo.org a online dictionary of University of München) could translate it.
Pictures are great too.
Beautiful shot - they are very pretty little flowers. My grandmother would tell me that a weed is only a plant growing in the wrong spot. I seem to have a lot in the wrong spot in my garden!
Yay! I'm so glad you were able to restore your images. I did the same thing once and wanted to kick myself for it! These are beautiful, and I'm glad you were able to get them back!
I'd welcome "weeds" that pretty in my yard any day! And (you know...) they'd match my house! SO glad for you that your card was restored...what heartache when that happens! Glad you're back to square one!
You're a peach of a gal to spend all the time you do looking at my Shutterfly collection and leaving all your sweet & funny comments. I get the biggest kick out of all of them! I apologize that I never got back to leave captions on many, but you seem to have waded through!
After you asked about the brownies, I suppose you saw the recipe in the next picture? They're so quick & easy & I still can't keep up with the demand for them! Give them a try!
I think I've probably shown a spotlight on Lunenburg this summer, haven't I? Would love nothing better than to visit over a cuppa (as you would say :-) if you ever made your way up here. All four of our dinner guests tonight were from Australia. (The little blue cottage you liked is Enid & Gordon's new summer cottage...they seem quite happy to have a small uncluttered place). Their friends are visiting from 3 hr north of Sydney, on the coast. Several years ago they'd rented our house for a month before we came north. I thought they'd enjoy coming back for a meal...we had a terrific evening!
Last, but never least (!)...it's been such fun to share Dill with you. I *am* a little horrified to realize how many pictures I've posted of him when I see them one after another with your comments! You'll admit, he's awfully photogenic, and something of a fixture around here. I've owned a lot of cats through the years, but never met one who wants so much to be in our company! (or am I deluded and it's all about the food?)
Well, before people complain that I've hogged all the space here, I should close up shop for the night as we'll have an early visitor again. I noticed the other night that Rainee said, "Holy crap, it's 2 AM...what am I doing here leaving comments!" Well, guess what...it's 1:45 and, suffering 365 addiction as well, I'm still buzzing along on that after-dinner coffee! I really must muster up some adult supervision and turn myself in for the night!
Thanks again for your fun company. I have several friends who tell me they never miss my photos, but you're one of the few who "chats with me". **Good night**!
looks like God has thrown some seed all over to pretty up the fields, woods and small areas everywhere. they look to pretty and i love the color of this one ...i'm always glad when i can call on my hubby..saying i lost it...can you help....and most the time viola there it is again...just like magic. happy you were able re restore your images.
