I like it - it brings your attention to the wildlife in the area & to drive with caution.
LOL - this is adorable! What a great shot! Our signs for wildlife include a "Deer Crossing" sign - which I never understood. Do they have a crosswalk? This one seems more appropriate.
What a good idea for a road sign! When we first visited Australia, it was so sad to see dead kangaroos along the road. To a foreigner, it was like seeing a zoo animal there! Glad they want to raise awareness as much as possible! What fun to know you looked up the map of Lunenburg. You're right that we have A LOT of churches, and outside of town, they line the roads about every 5-8 km...or less!
I loved the ones of the cassowary in the Daintree. Love the bump/turtle ones too- someone had made a turtle head stencil and has modified a lot of the classic bump road signs into turtles.
