Bernie has been wanting me to make a "decent" fruit cake for a while.
Today I got my act together & made a real beauty.
It is a Christmas Cake recipe & made a huge cake main photo.
It is wrapped & cooling.
We will cut it in a couple of days.
I know I will be making another before Christmas :)

This looks ABSOLUTELY awesome! Very professional and I'll bet it's out of this world delicious! The girls or I try to get a cake made for Ken every Christmas, but we all like to indulge... Love your photo arrangement and outcome...a fave!
@Weezilou - thanks Louise. Since I've been retired, I am getting around to doing thingsIve been meaning to do, especially with Bernie home all the time now. I'm enjoying the cooking :)
That looks like a Dundee cake in the two corners my favourite cake, when you cut the fruit cake send us a bit. Iam drooling now and will go and have abit of apple cake.
