"The rest of the story".

So this is the whole Texas plains scene, in the distance the gorilla is on the left, the Chasmosaurus on the right, the playa (small lake) is between them. The blowing tall grass in the foreground made beautiful waves, I'm sorry I didn't think to video the grass!
Great picture. The grass is always blowing in West Texas. Fav.

Terrific capture, Lou Ann! Great idea to show the entire scene in one image! Viewing this photo, I can almost feel what it was like when you were standing there in the blowing grass taking those amazing shots. :-)

The gorilla!! Oh yes I see him lol ... lovely scenery can just imagine the breeze making waves in the grasses in the foreground ... how about capturing it on a slow shutter speed so it captures the movement? Just a suggestion :) fav

@henrir Isn't that the truth. I had forgotten that blustery cold wind, it was a real walk down memory lane!

It really gives the sense of space. It reminds me of an area of statures in Borrego Springs, CA -- only that's more dessert looking.

Lovely, you can see and feel the grass waves. Obviously this farmer has a sense of humour.

Very comical indeed! I think I would do that in my own yard if I could- decorate it with whimsical sculptures and such that is! I love how the wind can turn grass into waves.
