The second Cape Henry Lighthouse by louannwarren

The second Cape Henry Lighthouse

Opened in 1881, it replaced the first lighthouse in America, which still stands, 350 feet away. It lights the way to Chesapeake Bay from the Atlantic. Both lighthouses stand close to the "First Landing" site where English settlers arrived in 1607. It is made of cast iron and has been automated, it remains in service today.
Beautiful shot and great pov.
