The Pink Almond bush loved all the rain a few days ago

It has exploded with buds and blooms! The pool looks inviting, but trust me, it’s only 60 degrees F. Will be a few weeks before it is warm enough for me, smile.
very nice set up and composition. it relaxes the senses, at least for me. aces!

I would LOVE to have a frame of blooms as gorgeous as this near the pool! Wonderful photo! (I've been carrying around a card to mail to you...well, still to *write* to you!, for weeks now, but so much is keeping me busy! I may send it empty eventually! You'll like the card!!! ♥)

This is beautiful - love the colors of the pink almond - don't think I've seen any around here - at least that I knew that's what they were :) Nicely composed.

Oh my! Thank you for your wonderful comments and favs, this little scene is on the PP and TP because of you! It really was a very ordinary scene before I cropped it! The Flowering Slmond puts on a great show for two or three weeks then it’s just long limbs of pretty green leaves for the rest of the year!
@Weezilou Thank you, Louise! I’m sure worried about the Cactus Orchid, I’m afraid the 14 degree cold snap was too much for it! Will see if it comes out after the soil warms up. Can’t wait to see the card, empty or full, ha!
@nicolecampbell I was honored to donate to Sophie’s cause, Nicole. I worked for a hematologist many years ago, I know first hand about Leukemia and it’s traumatic effect on children. I am very proud of your sweet girl for her commitment of doing good for others!
