There’s a website called “Roadside Attractions”

When we went to see The Knife in Bowie we saw these 16 agricultural windmills rising up on the side of the road in Montague County. There wasn’t a farm or building in site, just windmills behind a fence. I Googled “windmills in Montague County” and up popped the Roadside Attractions website! What fun! No one knows who put the windmills there, of course I’m sure someone knows, but they are kind of cool, all lined up on the south side of Texas Highway 59! I thought they deserved to be black and white, that took away all the mish mash around them. There was also discussion about how many windmills are there, 16 or 17, I easily counted 16 but one could be hidden.
Great find!!

Thank you all for your great comments and favs! You put this on the TP snd PP, thank you! A traveler who posted on the Roadside Attractions website said he stopped in a service station a few miles from this scene and asked the attendant on duty “what is the story on the windmills”? She said “what windmills?” Ha ha ha!
