Two tiny spiders worked all night to spin this web, the wind was blowing like crazy so I was lucky to get even this capture. Anything flying through the patio will have a hard time getting through this double web!
@mittens@henrir@beryl@ludwigsdiana@radiogirl@carolmw@gijsje Thank you so much for your great comments! The spiders that wove theses webs are not even 1/2” in size. I just can’t fathom them being able to make the front web, it’s fairly large, and then the smaller web behind!
That is a most unusual web - never seen a double before. We had that wind today, too - but just 25 drops of rain - not even enough to wet that back patio - think it got blown away before it landed!
@pcoulson I turned my garden hose attachment to mist so the web would show, smile. @gardenfolk the spiders work all night then go into hiding during the day. I’m sure they are watching their webs, waiting for a snack to fly into them.
