Sculptor Gary Lee Price’s “Celebrate the Children” summer exhibit at the Arboretum was great. Wonderful bronze statues of children were placed throughout the park. I loved this one, it reminded me of the days many moons ago when I could somersault across my childhood home’s lawn. @olivetreeann’s comment made me realize this is children cartwheeling and I found the “Cartwheel Kids” title on the Arboretum website. 😊
@olivetreeann you are so right about these children, this is “Cartwheel Kids”! for some reason I thought “Somersault.” I’m going to edit my post. Thank you for straightening me out! Ha!
@louannwarren Oh, I didn't even realize you'd put somersault! I just typed in my thoughts- sometimes the fingers are faster than the brain. But yes, it is a carwheel- which I could not do. I could do a somersault although they were very lopsided!
