Lori’s Prickly Pear Cactus

After lunch Sunday Lori said “you need to see the cactus, it’s unreal this year”. Two years ago I posted some photos of this with small cactus flowers, all in a reddish pink hue. This year the blooms are three times as large and yellow flowers are mixed in with the red. It is amazing this year.

It does look beautiful but prickly pear is regarded as a pest in Australia because it is so invasive.
