“The Hypnotist” by louannwarren

“The Hypnotist”

American artist Jonas Wood (born in 1977) paints densely patterned paintings of scenes he encounters in life. He went to a hypnotist in New York to be hypnotized to quit smoking. He loved the hypnotist’s office and secretly took photos of it to paint later. The boy on the floor on the left literally squealed when he saw the painting and ran up to be in the picture his teacher was taking. I could only assume he and his friends were art students and he was familiar with Wood.
Great shot and interesting information.

@mittens @joansmor @ludwigsdiana @carolmw @happypat @joemuli @jacqbb @pcoulson @carole_sandford @olivetreeann @radiogirl @lynnz @elatedpixie Thank you all for your wonderful comments. You know what I hate? I hate that I cut the woman on the right’s feet off. If I had gotten her standing on the floor with her feet showing this would be so much better. 😌
