One of the things I loved about our European and Mediterranean cruises was the bougainvilleas that grew up and over the walls and homes in villages. Here we beg, plead, cry, dream, and pray over our plants and are excited if we have one plant that puts on leaves over the summer. 😊

I love bougainvillea plants but unfortunately we had to take ours out because it grew like wildfire and almost destroyed the latticework on our patio and the roots lifted the pavers.
