Channeling Oliver

Alas no desirable yeast bread failures like @jyokota’s Oliver enjoyed, but walnuts that are two years out of date. I chopped up a cup of the walnuts and put them in a loaf of banana bread, which they ruined. The squirrel does not mind the bitter taste one bit, they aren’t finicky eaters.

I adore this capture!!! Absolute cuteness! (When some items like nuts or crackers are out of date, I heat them just a bit in the oven, and it sometimes refreshes/hides the taste... It wouldn't be my choice to give away, but might make them good enough for a last run here at home...)

@Weezilou oh Louise, these walnuts were past any resurrection.😊 The squirrel came to the kitchen window and said “I’m waiting”, so I had no choice but to put a few out for him!
