My friend Heidi’s husband passed away several months ago. Her family all live in Germany so I knew she would be alone for Christmas. I thought flowers might help, she texted me the photo and said they meant the world to her. Our friends need to know we care for them, maybe more now than ever before.
That was so thoughtful. I know there are quite a few widows on 365 and I pray for them quite often. I can't imagine how hard it must be. It's a lovely bouquet.
@sugarmuser@happysnaps@pcoulson@dide@joansmor@olivetreeann@grammyn@carole_sandford@radiogirl@milaniet@beryl@onewing thank you all so much for your dear comments. Any other year Jerry would have driven to Fort Worth and brought Heidi to our house. This year has been especially hard on the families of people who have passed away. On line funerals, no one being able to come to their homes, it has been terrible. The flowers were the least I could do, really. I truly believe “a little love can go a long way”.
You are right Lou Ann...we need to think of the little things that make our friends know we care. Heidi would be very touched at your kindness & it’s a beautiful arrangement.
