@happypat We have all four seasons here in North Texas, not bitter cold in winter but surely cold enough for all the leaves to fall off the trees that aren’t evergreen. South Texas doesn’t see much winter, mostly palms there. Southern Florida and California are the same. People who live in the northern states like to go south for the winters, they are called “snow birds”. 😊
@louannwarren Great name for them Lou Ann. Interesting to read about your weather pattern. Texas must be a very large state! Nice to still have the seasons, I would get bored with all the same weather.
@happypat I just looked at our size compared to the UK. You can fit all of the United Kingdom inside Texas 2.8 times. It’s around 788 miles (1268 km) from the top of the state to the most southern point. 😊
