At the cabin last week there was a nice sized herd of elk separated from the ranch by a 10’ tall wire fence. They had not started growing their horns yet, we liked this one because as Jerry said “he has knobby knees”. The ranch had deer corn to buy to feed the animals, the children loved that.
Such a cute shot, he really has knobbly knees 😉

He looks a lot like a horse from this angle. I had never noticed that before. I guess because I always see them with their horns. You got a fabulous shot of him.
