Our friend Ruthie, on the right in this photo, likes to have her friends come to her granddaughter’s restaurant every couple of months to visit. We are all connected by the mail industry. I worked at the credit union for postal employees, others worked for the post office and everyone else worked in the mailing industry. For the first time Ruthie’s husband couldn’t join us, he has dementia, so we tried to make the day special for her upcoming birthday.
