We are visiting San Antonio, a large city 300 miles south of our town. Our hotel has a view of the famed Riverwalk, I look forward to having my coffee on the balcony in the morning!
I loved San Antonio...until I tripped and fell on my face. Spent the day in the ER...that wasn't on my agenda so we missed visiting the Alamo and more. Plus, I got stitches under my lip, had a broken nose and a concussion. As soon as I flew home, I ended up getting an ambulance ride to the ER again!!!
Visited San Antonio back in 2004, my hotel overlooked the Alamo (if this is the same San Antonio). Loved what I saw of the city, but sadly was only there for a few days and took rather ill on the 1st day. Was looked after by the local military camp medical team who diagnosed a rather vicious stomach ulcer.
This is a beautiful shot overlooking the city with the sunrise in the background! I was there in 1974 is part of my basic training in the Air Force but I never got a chance to go into the city.
