Chichén Itzâ is one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern world and we knew we wanted to see it! Looking at all the tours we decided on a private tour to avoid the crowds. It was awesome! The tour guide, Miguel, picked us up early and we arrived at Chichén Itzâ and got photos without lots of people. It was great to stop by a few other places on our way back to the hotel to swim and shop or do whatever we wanted.
Today was our 35th wedding anniversary and we loved every minute of it!

I went there several years ago and all I can remember is how extremely hot it was and how little shade there was. We also had a dead rental car due to leaving the lights on, so it was scary trying to get help when you barely speak the language. Money always speaks well, though! Nice shot, by the way!
