Also called Purple wings and Costa Rican Butterfly vine. Very hardy in our area and can withstand baking on a hot, sunny wall. The one complaint about these vines is skin irritation. I moved some of the branches to get a better photo and my neighbor warned me. Went straight to the hose to wash!
