For the nifty-fifty straight out of camera challenge. And another portrait orientation!
Located near Chamberlain South Dakota, on a bluff above the Missouri River, this 50 foot sculpture honors the rich Native American culture of South Dakota.
From the plaque:
“Standing at a crossroad, Dignity echoes the interaction of earth, sky, and people. She brings to light the beauty and promise of the indigenous peoples and cultures that still thrive on this land. My intent is to have the sculpture stand as an enduring symbol of our shared belief that all here are sacred, and in a sacred place.”
Note: I did use a circular polarizer on this image. Just like the one I had in my film days. This is straight from the memory card to the project.
