Throwback from October 2012, from Happenstance blog. Taken during a drive across Illinois (North-South), a break at the Des Plaines State Fish And Wildlife Area... This is not really driftwood, but a dead tree stump along the shore of the Kankakee River.
It is interesting (for me, at least) to look through my old blog posts. Unfortunately, I used a 3rd party image hosting site until mid 2008 (through my ISP at the time). All those images are gone (from the blogs).
Happenstance goes back until September 2006, but the early posts are pretty useless. My first real blog ( https://lsqrd.blogspot.com/) was started all the way back in July 2001. But again, there's no images before mid/late 2008. oh well, huh?
