Sparky

I didn't feel like working today so decided to get some exercise at the zoo. Note to self: Don't go to the zoo on the weekend. It was great to see all of the kids having fun but a total waste from a photography standpoint. I think I got 3 decent shots. This is "Sparky". He is a Sumatran Tiger. He was enjoying his nap in the sun. Opened his eyes a couple times to check everyone out and to check on his mate. She was pacing in the adjoining enclosure.

@echoia @tesssa Thanks, He is a beautiful cat. He does have quite the stare. His keeper says he is very well behaved.

@lstasel We have been lucky enough to go to a tiger temple in Thailand. We got to pat them etc. Just wonderful.

@skatied Thanks Katie. He is a pretty laid back cat according to his trainer. He was napping and opened his eyes every once in a while to see what was going on. Also his mate was in the adjoining enclosure and he could see her from where he was laying.
