I started with the upper photo. It is a shot of a vase and the bottom portion of a seascape painting. It is cropped to a square. The second step uses a Photoshop filter (Distort - Polar Coordinates). The last step is another distort filter from Filter Forge. Ronjonie Glass Art #9. I played some with exposure and colors when I originally processed the RAW file.
