I found a 50 mm prime lens (aka 'nifty-fifty') on sale today (yay, yay)! so I had a great afternoon, even though it took a little while to get used to, never having used a prime lens before.
Others on 365 may know about the star reflection with the lens, but it was such a suprise to me - I have never taken anything like this before.

I love so much about this.....a fav! I love the swans in silhouette.....so peaceful. The water is like you are there...I can feel it, hear it, smell it (I live on a lake part of the time.) The star relections are amazing! the path of sunlight is wonderful. Just love love love it!

@nicolecampbell I was thinking of your star filters when I saw the flare - but I don't know if this lens makes such a tight star flare everytime, so this might be a one off!! :D
