Another 40 degree day, so indoor water shots sounded a good idea! I have always found the 'fluidity' of water fascinating, - almost like it has a mind of its own as it choses where and how to move.
My flash diffuser broke a while ago, so the lighting here is not as even as I would have liked, but I chose this image becasue I like the little juggler. :)
Thankyou you all for the comments, faves & new follows from the oil & water shot from yesterday! The encouragement and support from this community continually amazes me! You are such a fantastic group! xx
I hope you have/had a brilliant day.
I'm jealous in a way... I have no flash and I'd love to give water shots a go! Flash and ND filter... next on my list. But they are going to have to wait a while. You did this perfectly, Lyn... as you do with everything!
Awesome job!! Fav. I have attempted this before but didn't like mine... still need to do it again!!! I really need to write a list for those days I can't think of something. Re: your diffuser.. you can apparently use white fabric or paper? I haven't tried it though.
@seafilam72 thanks Alan - the trick is getting some light behind the water - oh and making a huge mess in the kitchen of course!! I have had most success with this type of 'slow water' when the vase opening is close to the size of the fruit being dropped, but that also causes an increase in the 'degree of difficulty' for the aim.
i am due to do another one soon too.
not sure what to use yet but I like your colour.
