My get-pushed challenge this week was from
@louienumber4 - thrift shop creativity. Challenge rules and discussion are at

This shot is the result of an incredibly serendipidous afternoon!
At lunchtime I drove to the nearest thrift shop, having first asked a colleague if she would let me take a photo of her in a dress after work?
"you will? perfect!
...in the shop they have a 'damaged' italian design bead and duchesse satin wedding dress on sale for $40 - what a bargain!! , and a $3 necklace...
yes I'll take them! perfect.... back to work..
"Oh, and, ummm, Caz, would you have time to drop down to Lake Burley Griffin straight after work? the location would be perfect...
yes? great!....
"Oh, and, ummm, Caz, would you mind getting just a little wet? I have an idea...
How cool are the people I work with!!! We spent 2 hours IN the lake - for this shot I am in the lake - seated in the slime & up to my chest in water, still fully clothed - wearing my work clothes.
We used the car windscreen heat-shield as a makeshift reflector, (thanks Richard for the idea, Bec for assisting) and Caz is resting her head on a lunchbox we nabbed from the lunchroom (thanks Claire).
Oh, and I dropped the dress in the bath & then the washing machine, & the do not wash, do not dryclean or spot clean dress looks like new!! Now all I have to do is find a place to store it!
An alternate shot is at

I know this makes a terrible thumbnail, but it looks snazzy enlarged!
oh - and you have the bestest friends :)
@northy I had to hunt for the right tag, and I think I found 19 shots by people using 'get-pushed-25' that might need their tags edited?
@tryeveryday - thanks, and aww schucks! :)
@nicolecampbell thanks Nicole, you know It would be even more fun if you still worked in our office! :))
Where do you get your ideas???
This shot is just beautiful! Well done!!!!
I'd like you to take a panoramic shot and turn it into a "Little Planet". The shot can be of anything you like. Here is a link to a basic guideline on how to create one of these. I have it on good authority that this one is the most straight forward and easy to follow if you're using Photoshop:

Hope you have fun with it.
