Coalcliffe by ltodd

Coalcliffe

A long treck to coastal NSW for a 365 meet up at Coalcliffe rewarded me with some great scenery. It was quite relaxing spending a few hours ankle deep in the warm ocean!

This 3 second exposure was taken with a neutral density filter.
The contrasting textures are nicer when enlarged if you have time. :)
Looks like a soft mist over the top of the water.

@trixiehiscock thanks Trixie - I have thought about that for this shot because there are so many different parts to look at. :)
@mikegifford thanks! - I am happy with this one - I don't think I would have been able to take a shot like this even 6 months ago...there is something new I learn every day of my 365 journey... :)

@redpants @aurorajane @peterdegraaff It was terrific meeting you guys, you were great lunch companions, and it was a such luxury to be absorbed in photography for a few hours like that! ....... without worrying that family & friends were 'totally bored' and then they want to drive on ... after ONE photo is taken!!
