This goanna (lace monitor) is living under the cabin we are holidaying in - over 3 feet long - I was not going to get too close!

The editing is "out of bounds" style - and because the lizard skin is meant to blend into its sandy surroundings, it was not easy to isolate!

That would scare me half to death! I do not do well with reptiles or amphibians for the most part. Frogs and toads- that's about it. And maybe a turtle or two. But definitely not lizards or snakes!! lol Excellent processing- so good I must now leave this page before I really freak out.

I hope their saliva isn't poisonous like it is with the monitor lizards. This is a really cool shot. Wonderful.
