Very interesting. I took a picture of the moon the same evening I did the sunset. I see the right side of the moon is in shadow where you are and here the left side is in shadow.
@ludwigsdiana _ What surprises me most is that according to your Exif your lens was set to 129mm. That isn't enough to bring the moon in this close so I am guessing that you did some cropping. But the clarity and detail is unreal!
@skipt07 Yes Skip, I did crop the sides as there was just too much darkness. I too am amazed as my camera is not a great one but does have a 30x zoom. It is also hand held as I do not have a tripod.
