which is on the other side of the peninsula. I live close to the Indian ocean, which makes it about an hour's drive. Unfortunately I chose a rather foggy day and the container ships waiting to enter Cape Town harbour, looked like ghosts in the fog.
That is fab composition with the walk leading right out into the ocean and then the ships in the distance. Beautiful colors also and I think the light is perfect.
Awesome capture. Thought at first glance that you had come to the US when you mentioned the Atlantic Ocean. Your sand looks a lot whiter than is does over here also.
Great composition. Very difficult to predict the weather and it can be quite different from one area to the next - although perhaps the misty day might have assisted with photography in the harsh midday sun
@gigiflower It is ice cold Sam, max temps around 16 degrees, (51F) @onewing Thanks Babs, that made up foe the bad weather :-) @seacreature Thanks Desi, you are so right but we are just not used to fog out here :-) @elisasaeter Thanks Elisabeth :-)
@ggshearron There are actually so many more Glover, waiting for the fog to lift so that they can enter the harbour or continue their journey. It was so incredibly foggy out there.
@seacreature Thanks Desi, you are so right but we are just not used to fog out here :-)
@elisasaeter Thanks Elisabeth :-)
