What is this,

hanging from a tree at the golf club.
Sort of looks like acorns, but I know they don't grow in clumps. Nice capture.

I photographed these in Hawaii! I can't remember the name but if I can find a label from one of my photos, I'll come back and post. They're on the indigenous endanger list in Hawaii, btw.
