Villeira game drive by ludwigsdiana

Villeira game drive

this herd of Eland were quite a distance away. Note how dry everything is and how little water is left in the dam. The only issue I had on this drive, was that the driver stopped too seldom. He was mostly cruising past slowly, which made it difficult to get good shots. I had to ask him to stop at the zebras.
What beautiful animals! It is quite dry. I'm going to fire that driver! lol I assume he's not a photographer.

So dry and they still find something to grase, pity that the driver didn’t stop at this wonderful scene.

A stunning capture Diana, yes it looks very dry...Thinking of you stay safe.

You got a gorgeous capture, still, Diana. The best way to travel when you have your camera is on your own - you can stop anywhere and anytime and take your time to take your pictures. But then very often it is somewhat boring, isn't it ?

So dry looking, are these animals in the wild so to speak? And coming in for water to people's dams?
March 25th, 2020
Beautiful image. I presume the driver was not himself a photographer.

@sangwann you are so right Dione, but in this case it was not possible. One had to go with a ranger. Next time I will choose a different one ;-)

@joannakate they are in the wild Joanna. It is a wine farm with an enormous closed off area which is a game farm.
